We are social entrepreneurs; we want to leave a positive footprint with our work. We have transformed a good idea into a social-impact project that changes the way of understanding the production process, contributes to improving working conditions, and values the crafts and culture of Mexico.
100% TIME MADE
Las horas is an ethical and responsible project. Our production process begins and ends in Mexico. We have created a relationship with the communities that is stable, flexible, mutually respectful and with an above-average remuneration.
They work from their workshops, away from large factories, without time pressure constraints or treasury tensions. The weavers, pattern makers, cutters, seamstresses, designers and artisans can thus balance their work with their own lives.
We decided to name the project las horas because our production process is defined within our name. Las horas define the time and dedication that we spend on each piece. We are time artisans.
WE REINVEST TIME
We have created a social fund contributing 10% of our profits for the artisan communities that collaborate in the project.
Las Horas is a collaborative project that generates social impact in the area, generating work and ensuring benefits for all. We reinvest the time.
MEXICAN TRADITION IN SINGULAR PIECES
We have carefully selected fabrics, embroideries, threads and colors in Mexico. The artisans of Chiapas (from the communities of Larrainzar, Aguacatenango and Chamula), represent Mexican culture. Their hands capture tradition in each of our pieces. By reinterpreting embroideries, colors, patterns and fabrics, we obtain pieces that evoke pure tradition with a contemporary design. Because we are among those who believe that crafts are a luxury.
